Doctor jailed in Pune Porsche crash case now arrested in kidney transplant scam

Dr. Ajay Taware, already jailed for tampering with blood samples in the Pune Porsche crash case, has been arrested again. Pune Police took him into custody on Thursday for his alleged involvement in a 2022 kidney transplant racket at Ruby Hall Clinic. As head of the Regional Authorisation Committee, he oversaw kidney transplant approvals.
