Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has indefinitely suspended its academic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Turkey’s Inonu University, citing national security concerns. This decision follows nationwide anger towards Turkey and Azerbaijan for their perceived support of Pakistan during recent conflicts. The MoU, signed in February 2025, was initially set to expire in February 2028.
