‘MIT wants a free Palestine’: Indian-American student on Israel ‘genocide’ in speech

During MIT’s commencement, Class of 2025 president Megha Vemuri delivered a pro-Palestinian speech, criticizing the university’s connections to Israel and urging graduates to take action. Wearing a keffiyeh, she highlighted MIT’s research ties with the Israeli military and the destruction of Gaza’s educational infrastructure.
