Sergei Lavrov, the Russian foreign minister, has accused the West of attempting to create discord between India and China by promoting an anti-China agenda in the Indo-Pacific region. He warned that Western powers are also trying to diminish ASEAN’s role in regional affairs by undermining consensus and encouraging divisive groupings.
